Most of maps which we see displaying or hanging on our professional premises are produced using some image based primary data or surveyed data from field. ![]() In India National Remote Sensing Center is one of them to sell satellite imagery or raster images. There are two types of data, one is vector data in line, point and polygon form and another is raster which general comes in image form from various satellite imagery receiving centers. There is huge expertise available on Geospatial technology who could efficiently carry out tremendous work using tools of this technology with their specific understanding and experience about areas. To use such pioneer technology, it needs expertise as well as domain understanding. There is a lot of scope of enhancing ways of doing work in different formats.Ĭonstraints of using GIS and Remote Sensing Products Other than IT, networking and computer based aid, GIS and Spatial technology can be implement and test in almost all thematic interventions of disaster management, health, education and emergencies etc. and Non.Govt organizations both, and while working with these two different nature of entity, I have not just realized but observed that in Humanitarian sector where technology can play significantly a vital role in rendering some analytical and decisional information in various forms is being utilized in very less proportion.
